Old Shanghai evenings: success at each edition

Every 4th Thursday of the month, we organize Old Shanghai evenings. From 5 p.m., EAST goes back in time and immerses you in the legendary atmosphere of old Shanghai from the 1930s. On the menu: cocktails, free appetizers, DJ music and artistic performances. Our evenings are successful each time and offer memorable moments to all our guests.

A look back at the 3rd edition of Old Shanghai

The 3rd edition of Old Shanghai took place on April 25.

DJ Makkai, known for his deep & progressive house sounds, set the mood at EAST throughout the evening. We are very happy to have been able to benefit from his presence after his visit to Tulum.

At 6:15 p.m., our guests were treated to an impressive traditional Asian dance performance. The artists, with their colorful dresses, their fans and their graceful movements, offered a true visual experience that transported us, for a few moments, to the heart of China!

We also had the pleasure of welcoming local influencers such as @tastemontreal, @mtloutings and @restomtl, who were able to perfectly immortalize the evening in images! Their culinary favorites of the evening were our delicious red curry and our tasty black cod with miso.

Appetizers and other free surprises were offered throughout the evening to the delight of our guests.
